Purpose
To contribute to the sustainable development of vulnerable communities in Mérida state through education, healthcare services and support to improve quality of life.
For us, the rainbow is what appears after the storm. That is the heart of the foundation: creating equal opportunities that mean a light of hope.
We are a nonprofit foundation created on the initiative of Karin Pacheco, a licensed bioanalyst. We began as a family project later joined by others, under the premise of helping people from different perspectives — later organized into programs.
In March 2021 we began working formally under the name Fundación Arcoíris. Today we serve communities across Mérida state, with an active branch in Timotes.
To contribute to the sustainable development of vulnerable communities in Mérida state through education, healthcare services and support to improve quality of life.
To be an organization where people — regardless of origin or circumstance — benefit through our programs, working with other organizations to create lasting impact.
To provide equal opportunities and improve the quality of life of vulnerable communities, with access to education, medical care and resources for sustainable development.
We are committed to positive change and to empowering people to overcome barriers and build a better future.
We believe in supporting vulnerable people and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
We value honesty: clear information about our actions and accountability in the use of resources.
We consider the diversity of the population and the dignity of each individual, promoting inclusion in our activities.
Walking in other people’s shoes lets us understand their context and know what help they truly need.
Our ethical and voluntary commitment to sustainable development and the well-being of the Mérida community.
We cooperate by combining individual skills toward a common goal.
